Stargazing Break at Kirroughtree

Galloway Forest Park in Dumfries & Galloway was designated as a Dark Sky Park in 2009.  It is the first in the UK and one of only five in the world to be given this status. Galloway Forest Dark Sky Park has some of the darkest night skies not just in Scotland but in Europe.

The Dark Sky Park is on the doorstep of Kirroughtree House Hotel, an ideal base for you to come and experience the wonders of the cosmos.
